Principal's Message
It is a matter of great pleasure that I have the opportunity to welcome the newcomers joining Guru Nanak Dev University College, Phillaur. This premier institute came into existence in 2016 with the mission of uplifting the rural strata through the imparting of quality education. The admission process for the 2026–2027 session has already begun. We offer a wide range of courses, including B.A., B.Com., B.B.A., B.Sc. (Economics), B.C.A., CIPA, CCA, PGDCA, M.Com., M.Sc. IT and M.A. in Punjabi. To my mind, an educational institution is not merely about bricks, mortar and concrete; rather, it is about building character, enriching minds and creating experiences that last a lifetime. Along with academics, we strive to refine the essential skills, attitudes and aptitudes of our students. In the new education system, special emphasis is being placed on vocational education so that students can acquire knowledge in accordance with the needs of the time and become capable of confidently facing the challenges of the modern era.

About the College
Guru Nanak Dev University College, Phillaur was established in July 2016 in village Tehang, Tehsil Phillaur, District Jalandhar as a constituent co-ed degree college offering faculty in Commerce, Arts, and BSc (Economics). The land was donated in two pieces by the panchayat of village Tehang on the Phillaur-Bara Pind road: one piece of about 4.3 acres where the college building has been constructed by the Government of Punjab, and a piece of land on the opposite side of the road about 4 acres, to be used as a playground.
Now the college offers B.Com, M.Com, B.A. with optional subjects, including Economics, Political Science, History, and Physical Education it also offers M.A. (Punjabi), B.C.A., B.Sc (Economics), and B.B.A P.G.D.C.A., Diploma in Computer Application, and Diploma in Professional Accountancy. The college is a co-educational postgraduate institution .It has 584 students enrolled and employs 15 assistant professors, two clerks, and one OSD. The college is run by the GNDU Amritsar.
The college campus has a rich environment with 250 trees, 15 airy well-furnished classrooms, one big computer lab, one small computer lab, and one seminar hall. The playground has been leveled and has many trees around it.
The college caters to Village Tehang and about 60 villages in the Tehsil Phillaur and provides affordable and high-level technical education. The learned and sincere professors are there to guide and enrich students. The eminent residents of Village Tehang help the college financially and have provided the college with a solar system, fans, whiteboards, coolers, benches, chairs, etc.
